THE CATWALK TRUST - Funding research to cure spinal cord injury

Penny is an ambassador of the CatWalk Trust and along with like minded customers passionately supports all CatWalk events. In 2013 she, Catriona Williams and other participants reached the Tibetan side of Everest Base Camp as part of their epic 1000km cycle ride where they raised $600,000 towards spinal research. Since then, scientists have made dramatic advances towards prevention of spinal cord injury.

And the adventure continues! This December, Dame Catriona Williams and TEAM Connect USA are setting off on their boldest challenge yet: a 4,800km (3,000 mile) handcycle ride across nine American states, averaging around 100km a day.

The goal: Inspire the world's brightest minds to unite behind a cure for spinal cord injury — and raise vital funds for CatWalk along the way.
